The Story Behind Ali’i Kona Coffee
Thirty years ago, I built our family home in Hōlualoa on the slopes of Hualālai. As a nature-loving architect born to generations of farmers and fruit growers, I worked closely with local coffee farmers and developed a deep appreciation for the land that makes Kona coffee so special.
That inherited passion for cultivation became the blueprint for my family’s next chapter. Today, that legacy has grown into Aliʻi Kona Coffee. Cared for by three generations of our ʻohana, still rooted in the same neighborhood, our small-batch coffee is cultivated in rich volcanic soil at 900–1000 feet elevation — crafted with Aloha in Every Sip!
